Athletics

Overview

At Clear Creek Middle School, student-athletes are representatives of our school, team, and community. Participation in athletics is a privilege that requires responsibility, commitment, and respect. When signing our Student Athlete Behavioral Expectation Contract, student-athletes agree to uphold the values of teamwork, integrity, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.

Expectations for Student-Athletes:

    • Complete all classwork, homework, and projects in a timely manner.

    • Show respect to teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents.
    • Refrain from using inappropriate language or gestures.
    • Avoid involvement in bullying, harassment, or other forms of disrespectful behavior.
    • Follow all school rules during practices, games, and travel.
    • Suspensions from school will result in consequences to be determined based on the severity of the infraction
  3. Attendance and Punctuality
    • Attend all practices, games, and team meetings unless excused in advance by the coach.
    • Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to participate.
  4. Teamwork and Sportsmanship
    • Support and encourage teammates at all times.
    • Handle wins with humility and losses with grace.
    • Abide by the rules and decisions of officials and coaches.
